When you get hit by a man-of-war don't try to rub it off You will spread ita all

over and have a real disaster. The antidote is is warm ammonia that is, something besides cleaning fluid

that has ammoninia in it. Apply with a towel and then stand in the shower and let the ammonia

wash off. THe sting can cause headaches, nausea, and palpitations. Ammonia is also in urine.
