Hi, all!! In Australia head lice are quite prevalent in our schools. I have found the best thing to use is tea tree oil shampoo. You can make your own with normal shampoo, adding 5 ml of pure tea tree oil to 250 ml bottle. It smells nice, and makes your hair really shiny and clean. Also cleans the scalp of dandruff, and acts as a disinfectant. Yet it is gentle on your hair and scalp. Teatree oil can be used for many things.....athlete's foot, small wounds (diluted in water), throat gargle, getting grease stains off clothes, tar off floors, etc. Wonderful stuff!!! Julie in O |
