Remedy Description

Read your posts about cuts and "boo-boos." I don't know how many of you read Dr. Gott's column in the newspaper which is usually next to the crossword puzzle,

the horoscope and funny papers. Recently he recommended a product called NU SKIN which was for cuts when you had your hands in water.

Due to necessity and grades, the last semester in college, my hands got really, really bad and I got little cracks and fissures on thumb and first finger

because my hands were in water all the time. I tried every brand of liquid bandaid brand on the market and I can say without a shadow of a doubt-DO NOT BUY

NU-SKIN!!! It hurts like *##*@^@^!!!!! It also is not going to stay on your finger and is actually more of a nusiance than a help. The ONLY brand which worked

(I shared with others so it was not just me it worked on) and stayed on all day, did not hurt to put on, and actually did what it said it would do was LIQUID

BAND-AID brand. BUT-if your cut is deep, the finger cot method or cut off surgical glove works better.

Also, I have started using something else on my hands-sounds gross, but it does repel water-the baby butt paste that you use on babies that repels water for

diaper rash Boudreaux's Butt Paste is what I use). Some brands stink but are highly effective. Also found a product that is actually designed fo be used for

people who are 'incontinent.' It repels water but does not feel like you have anything on your hands.Works great. I am sure some are going "ewwwwww",but it

works. For that matter, rubbing a thin layer of Vaseline on your hands very well, makes a difference in your hands in throwing.

Just thinking outside the box.....
