Remedy Description

If you have a sunburn take some plantain leaves (the weed growing in your

yard, not a plantain banana), wash it and chew it up. Apply the poultice

to the sunburn. There is something in the leaves (tannin?) that removes

the heat and pain and helps keeps the skin from peeling.

This remedy can also be used for:

insect stings
