Remedy Description

Immediately after being stung, pour liquid dishwashing detergent directly

on the affected area and scrub vigorously with your fingertips for a few

minutes, then rinse off. The itching and pain will be greatly reduced or

disappear altogether.

We discovered this during our waterskiing adventures in waters near the

Atlantic coast of the United States. I have no idea how effective this

would be with jellyfish species found elsewhere.
