Remedy Description

Just fill the CD scratch with peanut butter and wipe clean, repeat a

couple of times. It works sometimes.

but will it work on a dvd??

people used to do that to fix the scratches on CDs to varying effect. I've

never heard of anyone doing it for a DVD, but I guess it could work.

Actually, though, DVD error correction is a lot better than CD error

correction, so if a DVD is scratched to the point that it isn't working, I

kind of feel like the peanut butter trick isn't going to be good enough to

do anything. Also, I'd be pretty afraid to put it in any of my DVD players

afterwards too.

This remedy can also be used for:
