Split fingers and the super glue cure when doing ceramic throwing

Remedy Description

Source: http://www.potters.org/subject93308.htm

For those of you who get the REALLY painful splits on your fingers as I do,

(I am an ER nurse on the Hopi Rez in AZ), I use plain old super glue. When

we have to do minor surgery on our patients, we use a product called

Dermabond. It is an expensive form of Super glue. It works WONDERS!

Super glue does not sting, or hurt like liquid bandaid, (I use the Wally

World form of super glue gel, works great), and it stays on for about 3

days. It takes awhile to dry, but I just make sure that I don't have

anything manual to do for about a half hour.
