Remedy Description

have successfully treated staph with essential oils. In one case a

dude at A-camp had a cut finger with staph that had begun to spread.

His whole hand was inflamed and there where red lines gong up the back

of his hand almost to his wrist. I suggested the emergency room but he

wouldn't go so i treated it the same way I treat any infected wound

but more aggressively. I soaked his hand for 15 to 30 minutes in an

antiseptic/antibacterial tea, sage (artemisia) works well and its easy

to find at rainbow gatherings. Then I used tea tree, myrrh, and

eucalyptus essential oils. All are highly antibacterial and the

eucalyptus draws out poisons as well as dissolves pus. I use enough

drops to soak the wound and a gauze pad so that it would remain moist

for 24 hours. I changed it daily. As the inflamation and red lines

disappeared and there was little or no pus I eased off on the

eucalyptus and substituted lavender oil. Lavender is also

antibacterial, though not as powerful as myrrh or tea tree but in

addition to its antibacterial action it promotes healthy tissue

growth. As the wound heals I ease off the tea tree and just use

lavender and myrrh. When the healing nears completion and its no

longer necessary to wrap the area in gauze I'll just use myrrh. Its a

purified sap and spread over a wound it dries and acts like a band

aid. Of course staph is very dangerous and if you try this and you

don't see some improvement at the first change of the wrapping and

significant healing in less then a week seek professional help. It

took about 3 weeks with the worse case I've dealt with.
