"Antifungus drugs injure the body and when they are discontinued there
is a high risk for recourance of the fungus. Try a home remedy instead Scrape the dark discolaration off the nail with a sharp scissor or knife blade. The fungus is in the discloration area. Scrape the entire nail till it is thin. Several sessons of scrapping may be requiered to get all the fungus off. Then apply a drop of solution made from the following recipe twice a day: --cups of vinegar --1/2 oz -of myrth --1/2 oz of calendula Put all the indgredients in a glass jar with a tight lid and allow it to soak in a dark place for 3 weeks. Shake the jar twice daily. After 3 weeks , strain the solution, rinse the jar, discard the herbs and store the liguid back in the jar. You can start using the solution from the first day you mix it, even though it does not reach full potency untill 3 weeks end. Plain vinegar is also helpful. If you are sensitive to vinegar, use two cups of water add 2 tablespoons of citric acid. You can buy citric acid at a store selling canning supplies. |
