ingredients = Spicy V8 Garlic (as fresh as possible for best results)
Pepper (also freshly ground if possible) Optional: tobasco sauce, dandelion (no green) This is a modified (hence, the V8) family recipe that has ALWAYS worked for anyone I've ever known to try it. It is best if taken at the first hint of a cold/flu. Get Spicy V8 (although regular V8 or tomato juice will do) and add as much freshly ground garlic (or seep garlic cloves in the mixture; the longer the better), and as much pepper as you can stand. If it burns, good. Then you know you're using enough pepper. You can add tobasco if you'd like too, and dandelion flower (minus the green which makes the mixture bitter) for a little extra punch. Drink this for the duration of the day and by the next morning, you won't even remember you were sick. |
