(1) Doses exceeding 7 units will usually start sooner,
last longer, and act less predictably than smaller doeses (2) Aspart is not quite as rapid in its action as lispro or glulinise. (3) Can be diluted for use by children. (4) Doses of NPH that exceed 7 units may have a peak action at about 8 hours after injection (5) Patients of Dr Bermstein report that Lantus does not remain stable past its expiration date. It also includes cancer causing agent in it. (6) Fast acting inslin can boost regular insulin 30% or more (7) Dr B recomends Tresiba for basal insulin vs Levemir. (8) This aspart insulin is very fast and will start working in 5 minutes. |
